The Rockaway Rocket is returning on July 4th and will run for a limited time between Long Island City, Greenpoint, and Rockaway. Beat the lines and the heat with a guaranteed spot on a ferry going directly from Long Island City and Greenpoint to Rockaway for $12. Tickets for the first weekend are on sale now in the NYC Ferry App.
The Rockaway Rocket will operate on weekends and holidays through September 1st, with two morning departures from Long Island City and Greenpoint to Rockaway and two evening return trips back from Rockaway. Please arrive to the landing at least 10 minutes prior to the time printed on your ticket or you will not be able to board the ferry.
